This is an early historical record dating from 1842 and recording the services of the 12th, or The Prince of Wales's Royal Regiment of Lancers from 1715. It gives a relatively detailed account of the Regiment in the Peninsular War and especially at Waterloo and it includes a section on the succession of colonels. It is illustrated with an attractive hand-coloured plate of the uniform and includes two interesting and relevant cuttings, tipped-in. SCARCE FIRST EDITION.
