The magazine continues to this day. This is a bound wartime volume of numbers 133 to 138, May to October 1917. Profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings, articles include : Auxiliary Patrol : Mine Sweepers. Indian Craft – Bombay. The Romance of Shipbuilding. Sailing Alone Round the World. R.N. In addition, there are miscellaneous notes, portrait studies (including one for Lt. Norman Wilkinson RNVR), book reviews, designs and plans, correspondence, yachting notes, and a wartime Roll of Honour for yacht clubs around the British Isles and overseas. Although the condition of the book is wanting, it nevertheless contains a wealth of detailed information and illustration on yachting and RNVR affairs during the penultimate year of the First World War. Uncommon early issues.
