This is a Very Scarce history, with a French text, about French maritime airships during the period 1915 to 1937. The book is comprised of three parts : The first part focuses on ‘The Airships’ and opens with a general discussion on airships before going on to provide a description and career of each individual airship. The second part looks at ‘Airship Centres’, again beginning with a general discussion on hangars, workshops, hydrogen factories, ground and camp. It then goes on to look at specific centres and gives a history of each. The third and final part explores the various staff involved with airships during this period. Profusely illustrated with photographs, illustrations, maps and plans, including a full colour section, this is a VERY SCARCE study.
