Dressel, J. & Griehl, M.

1st ed., 1994. 192 pp., photo-ills. D.j., 28 x 22cm. FINE. Few collections can rival this superb pictorial reference to the bombers of the Luftwaffe during the 1930s to the collapse of 1945. This book shows the full range of aircraft and weapons alongside detailed technical and operational captions and summaries of each type. It is well known that mainly twin-engined medium range and payload aircraft made up most of the Luftwaffe bomber strength, but this book provides little known details and rare photographs of the larger four-engined designs planned and in some cases built.
