1st ed., 1931. 165 pp., photo-ills., + ills. Blue cloth; gilt; 22 x 14cm. Minimal marks to covers o/w V.G. Published in 1931 this book is an early attempt to assist the amateur pilot in learning to fly. It does not deal at any great length in the actual process of learning to fly but it explains how all the movements of the aeroplane are made, and therefore aims to form a useful auxiliary during the instructional period. An interesting insight into flying techniques of the early 1930's.
