This brief history of the Grenadier Guards concentrates in the main on the Second World War and includes a section on the location of battalions in the policing of Germany, Austria, Palestine, etc., during and immediately after the war. There are also reasonable sections on the period from 1656-1914 and on the First World War, which is followed by a very brief section on the Guard's movements from 1918-1939. An attractive little volume.
