As with the title above, this is another early historical record, this time dating from 1842 and recording the services of the 12th, or The Prince of Wales's Royal Regiment of Lancers from 1715. It gives a relatively detailed account of the Regiment in the Peninsular War and especially at Waterloo and it includes a section on the succession of colonels. Illustrated with an attractive hand-coloured plate of the uniform and including two relevant cuttings, tipped-in, extra to this copy.
