1st ed., 1841. Viii + 72 + 8 pp. Original blue cloth; blind decorative tooling + gilt title; 23 x 14cm. 1 plate called for but lacking; hinges tight but joints rubbed in places with a tear to the spine (complete); o/w clean & GOOD. This is one of Cannon's early historical records dating from 1841 and recording the services of the 9th, or The Queen's Royal Regiment of Light Dragoons; Lancers from 1715. It gives a good account of the Regiment in the Peninsular War and it includes a section on the succession of colonels. Although sadly lacking the plate, this otherwise good historical record is now available at a far more affordable price than usual.
